Update to 10/27/09 Meeting Location

***Reunion Committee Meeting Location Change***There will be a Reunion Committee Meeting, at Coco's, 5350 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City today, at 7:00pm, instead of the Marina Del Rey Marriot. This should be a very imformative meeting. Creative Class Reunion will be attending to give us assistance in the planning of our Reunion. It looks as though we will be starting from scratch. So this will be a good time to join the Committee. We will be picking a new date, and location. As Chairperson I welcome you, and I am sure that we will have a great Committee, and a great Reunion. Everyone is welcome to attend. Don't worry if you are not in town, if you still want to participate, we can always find something for you to do. Just let us know

In Memoriam: Mike Layana's Funeral
The funeral will be a gravesite service at 2:00 PM Wednesday September 16, 2009 at Holy Cross Cemetary. Holy Cross Cemetary is located between the old Fox Hills Mall and El Rincon. Just follow the procession or look for a crowd of people gathered at the gravesite. Following the service, there will be a food and drinks reception at the Layana house(across from Lindberg Park). Mrs. Layana said Spike would have wanted this to be a very casual affair, so she told me to wear slacks and a Hawaiian shirt, so feel free to dress accordingly.
Hope to see you there. Eric Ishibashi

In Memoriam: Mike Layana passed away
Mike passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009. Mrs. Layana believes he suffered a massive heart attack. As soon as I find out information about his wake and funeral date, I will post that information. For those of you that really know the Layana's, I know they would appreciate as much support and it would give them great comfort to know how many of us cared about Mike, so if you are able to attend either his wake or funeral, I would greatly appreciate it.
All the best to everyone, Eric Ishibashi
